Crash-landing on the scene in 2009 with a very Alien point of view, The H-Eyer Level Poets Have Arrived; Consisting of 29 year old self taught engineer/Emcee, BustBack tha Arkitect (Vincent Capaccio), 28 year old Emcee, MicBlee tha Wizard (Michael Blevins) and 29 year old producer, DJ NC (Nelson Chandara), this trio is determined to redefine the boundaries of hip hop, or as they would say “Let the Assimilation begin!”
BustBack, who engineers and produces for The Poets, was born and raised in the Hip Hop Mecca of the World, THE BRONX, N.Y... He began writing poetry at a very young age until he linked up with his man King Midas in 99’ and started reppin’ Hoodfellas for a couple years after. Disappearing from the game for a while, he reappeared in San Diego, CA, where he renewed his passion for music, and eventually linked up with another part of this spaced-out combination MicBlee.
A native of San Diego, Blee started writing poetry at the age of 13, but it wasn’t until his early twenties did he consider writing to be more than just a hobby. After joining a few of the local poetry slams, a good friend of his suggested he should try to put his skills to a beat , and he’s been in the studio ever since. When tha Wizard hooked up with the Arkitect, they put their talents together and came up with, what seems to be a winning combination.
